Transparent Accounts

  • No daily fees or exit fees
  • Clear monthly statements showing your package balance
  • Support to ensure you're getting the most from every dollar in your package

You will receive set funding based on your assessed care needs, called Classifications. A My Aged Care assessor will determine your care needs and work with you to create a support plan tailored to your needs and goals.This funding can be used alongside other funding sources to access personalised care and support services. In certain circumstances, you may also receive interim funding for a limited period.


Your budget will be reviewed quarterly under the Support at Home program to ensure your care and services continue to meet your needs. If your current budget is no longer sufficient, you can request a reassessment to determine whether you are eligible for a higher funding classification and budget.


If you have transitioned from the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program, you will continue to receive a funding level equivalent to your previous package. Any unspent HCP funds will be retained and can be used through Support at Home for eligible assistive technology, home modifications, and additional services you may need.
