About Deborah

Board Chairperson

With more than 30 years of experience in the health sector, Deb has dedicated much of her career to working closely with local communities - a role she finds deeply meaningful and rewarding. In 2016, she was honoured to be named Australian Practice Manager of the Year, recognised for her leadership, commitment to patient care, and passion for building compassionate, high-performing healthcare teams.

Today, Deb continues her work in the sector as Director of New Aged Care, where she remains focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting the wellbeing and dignity of older Australians.

Deb and her family have called the Macedon Ranges home for many years. It’s where her children grew up, went to school, and played sport - and where they now enjoy a peaceful country life alongside a few sheep, one alpaca, and their loyal cocker spaniel, Bailey.

Outside of work, Deb enjoys gardening, travel, and spending time outdoors - activities that keep her grounded and connected to what matters most.
