About Alison

Chair of Client Advisory Group

Alison is a retired General Practitioner who has served the Macedon Ranges community over many years. She has maintained a strong focus on women’s health, palliative care, the ageing community and medical education.


Beyond her clinical work, Alison contributed to a range of community groups and committees, including Cobaw Community Health, the Uniting Church, St John Ambulance, and Woodend Primary School, where she taught Preparation for Puberty.


As a founding member of New Aged Care in 2016, Alison helped shape the organisation’s values and direction, always keeping community care at its heart.


Alison remains actively involved in her Governance role with New Aged Care, where she brings a wealth of experience, deep insight, and enduring passion for the wellbeing of older people.
