What Positions Do We Offer?

General Practitioner

  • Attends weekly rounds at Residential Aged Care Facilities.
  • Provides specialised services to residents with the assistance of a Registered Nurse.

Nursing

  • Attending weekly rounds with the GP and assisting them in providing quality care services
  • They will assist families to understand all medical and clinical information as it arises.
  • Work to establish a meaningful connection with all patients to ensure the transition in Residential Care is made easy.

Volunteering

  • If you are looking to give back to the community
  • Involves transporting clients to and from appointments, social outings or just a cuppa!

Case Management

  • Providing support and advice to Home Care clients to assist them to continue living independently.
  • Required to conduct assessments, care planning and navigate directed services to complex care clients within budget guidelines.

Personal Care Worker

  • Qualified workers to provide daily living assistance at home.
  • Perform home care and personal care to clients, such as cleaning, shopping and social support.
  • Requires a minimum Cert III in Aged Care, police check and current driver’s license.

    About the role

    The Case Manager is an integral part of the Home Care team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to -


    • Working closely with the client to identify care needs, goals and preferences
    • Overseeing the implementation of care and services as agreed with the client to meet their assessed needs
    • Managing client home care accounts, ensuring appropriate use of funds to achieve desired outcomes
    • Monitoring & responding to the changing needs of the client
    • Conducting in-home assessments & reviews
    • Collaborating & communicating with clients, families, internal & external stakeholders

    Skills and experience

    • Previous experience in Aged Care services and an understanding of the aged care industry, including Home Care Packages and the Aged Care Quality Standards 
    • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, allied health, social work, care management and/or related experience
    • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines & reporting requirements
    • Sound IT skills
    • Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • General Practitioner

    The Role:

    A General Practitioner is required to attend weekly rounds at Residential Aged Care Facilities to provide specialised services to residents with the assistance of a Registered Nurse. Our current GPs work full time, part-time & casual. We have mums working school hours or you could even remain in your current GP role and work 1 day/week with us. Here at New Aged Care, we have the flexibility to accommodate you. We currently have work around the Macedon Ranges, Sydenham, and Glenroy areas. If you no longer enjoy or feel supported in your current role, or maybe you are newly qualified and would like to work with a growing innovative company, that values and supports staff, we are the company for you.

  • Personal Care Worker

    The Role:

    A Personal Care Worker is required to provide our Home Care clients with home and personal services. This may include cleaning, shopping, showering, and social support. We currently have work in the Macedon Ranges and surrounding towns, including Castlemaine and Sunbury. If you no longer enjoy or feel supported in your current role, or maybe you are newly qualified and would like to work with a growing innovative company, that values and supports staff, we are the company for you.


    About You:

    • You will have a genuine passion for working in Aged Care.
    • You will be a caring, compassionate, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person who is committed to supporting older people.
    • You are empathetic, resilient, have outstanding personal qualities, and have a preference for working within a collaborative team.
    • You can interact, find common interests and develop a connection with the older community.
    • You understand that you are working for an organisation that is committed to supporting you, and in turn, you will support our clients.
    • You have a Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent, or studying for a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
    • You hold a Victorian Driver's License, have reliable car and car insurance.
    • You hold a current Police Check
    • You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
    • You have values that align with ours, 'respectful, ethical, and caring".
